Indian Boxer Laishram Devendro Singh Story

Devendro Singh Lasharam was born on 2 March 1992, in Imphal West District Manipur. She is an Indian boxer who participates in the Normal Wet Division. Devendro had inducted India at the 2012 Summer Olympics and lost in the quarterfinals during a strong fight against the last podium medalist Irish boxer Paddy Barnes.

Devendro had qualified for the Olympics after reaching the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championship quarterfinals in Baku. In 2013, Devendro won the silver medal at the Asian Confederation Boxing Championships. In August 2014 he won silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

He competed against Paddy Barnes. Who was representing Northern Ireland? And settled for a silver medal. Devendro could be a strong contender for the 2016 Olympics for the Asian nation. He is supported by Olympic Gold Quest.

Devendro Singh Personal Life

Devendro was born in Imphal West District, Manipur, India. His father and mother’s names are Jugindro Singh and Maklembi Devi. And she has an older sister named Laishram Sushila Devi. Susila is a former international boxing champion.

Sushila honors her brother Devendro as a coach in his training. Devendro stated that his house is a supportive family. He told that his sister Susilala is in the form of an analyst for him. She watches all my bouts and my opponents on YouTube. And helps me to do my strategy.

Devendro Singh Olympic Qualification

Competition for boxing at the 2012 Summer Olympics was supported by the WSB (World Series of Boxing) individual championship, 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships and 5 Continental Olympic qualifying events.

92 seats were reserved for the World Amateur Boxing Championship. And from August 22, 2011, to October 10, 2011, Agattjadan was under control in Azerbaijan. So that each weighted qualification of the game is completely different from the ten-track National Olympic Committees.

He was named State State Boxing Coach m. Was coached by Narjeet Singh and Indian boxing coach Gurbaksh Singh Sandhu. Devendro Singh participated in the World Amateur Boxing Championships. After that, he was selected for the Trial of the Army Sports Institute’s Global Championship Command.

He defeated Asian Amateur Boxing Championship silver medalists Nana Singh Thokomom and Amandeep Singh in the entire trial. Devendro reached the quarter-finals, where he lost to South Korean rival Shin Jong-hyun by a margin of twenty-six points.

For coaching and competitions, Devendro Singh received constant support from Sports Science College at the Army Sports Institute.

He received special training on coaching and competition diet for the Indian Olympic Mission Olympic Wing in Pune from Mrs. Aradhana Sharma (Sports Nutritionist) WHO.

2012 Olympic

Devendro qualified for the quarter-finals by defeating silver medalist Purdadorjin Sirdamba of the 2008 Beijing Olympiad by 1611. He saw the bronze winner of the 2008 Olympics, Paddy Barnes of the Year, lost to Devindro Barnes 23-18 and left the Olympics on August 8, 2012.

2013 Olympic

Devendro won silver within the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championship and additional adscititious a bronze to his tally throughout the FXTM International Limassol Boxing Cup. Devendro Singh is present grade is World No. three by the International Boxing Association.

2014 Olympic

He won Men’s Boxer class boxing medal in Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014 and he lost in the third round despite losing to a European country’s Paddy Barnes. Because he had already lost 2 rounds. Seventeen boxers from seventeen countries participated in the tournament.
